Sacraments

Baptism
The Sacrament of Baptism is held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 1:00 PM in the Church. Parents anticipating the birth of a child must attend a Baptism Preparation Class.  Classes are held on the first Monday of each month in the Holy Family Chapel at 6:00 PM. The child's original birth certificate or proof of birth from the hospital must be provided. Prior registration is required.  Please contact us to register.  Baptisms are not celebrated during the Lenten Season.

First Penance & First Holy Communion
Children who have reached the age of seven years and are enrolled in Saint Margaret Catholic School or in Saint Margaret Religious Education Program are invited to special classes preparing them to receive these sacraments. Family participation is stressed.  Pre-registration is required.

Confirmation
Participants who are seventeen years old or in the eleventh grade and enrolled in Saint Louis Catholic School or in Saint Margaret Religious Education Program are required to attend classes beginning in October in order to properly prepare for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Pre-registration is required.

Marriage
Couples planning to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage in Saint Margaret Catholic Church must obtain and read a copy of the Wedding Policy.  Couples are to meet with a priest at least six months prior to the intended wedding date to allow sufficient time for marriage preparation as directed by Diocesan Policy.   Call the parish office to make an appointment with one of our priests.  Couples are required to bring an updated BAPTISMAL certificate (dated within the last 6 months) with notations, to the first appointment with the priestAll engaged couples must plan to meet with our Wedding Coordinator before purchasing any items or inviting persons to participate in the wedding.

Anointing of the Sick
Formerly known as "Last Rites" this sacrament is appropriate for those of the faithful whose health is seriously impaired by sickness or old age. Contact the parish office as soon as possible to schedule an appointment for this sacrament.
